Safety Medical Products Limited - Board and Management and Advisory

Safetymed has assembled a strong management team. The Board of Directors were chosen with relevant commercial experience and background and academic credentials, proven business performance within the health and medical products industry, broad international business experience and expertise in market assessment and subsequent commercialisation of new technology within the health and medical industries.

Managing Director John Riemelmoser originally conceived the idea and specifications for the syringe back in 2000. With a background in sales and distribution of consumer products, John was able to facilitate the prototype tooling and funding of the development of the syringe through to recent commercialization. John has been vitally concerned with all stages of development of the syringe, as well as facilitating and overseeing all necessary prototype changes to ensure a readily acceptable and marketable product for the world markets. As such John has both the skills, experience and ambitions to lead the Company as a supplier of safety medical products worldwide.

The Company has also secured the services of Mr John Darley as Chairman of the Board who was previously Valuer General for South Australia and is currently a member of the Legislative Council of the South Australian Parliament. and is currently a member of the Legislative Council of the South Australian Parliament.

The Company has also secured the services of Dr Joseph Nicholas as a Director. Dr Nicholas is also Chairman of Directors of the Australian Medical Co-operative (AMCL) , encompassing a base membership of more than 500 doctors nationally. He is also a Director of G.P.Health Ltd and has been in private general medical practice for 23 years.

Mr Tony Mitchell was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in September 2007. Mr Mitchell has considerable experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer products industries having been CFO/Company Secretary of the ASX-listed GroPep Limited and having held senior financial management positions with Mayne Group Limited, FH Faulding & Co. Limited and Coca-Cola Amatil Limited.

The Board is also ably supported by Mr Bruce Hocking, who is also the company secretary and a director of the AMCL, and who has extensive experience in health related businesses within Australia, the USA and Canada. He is the Company's in house Legal Counsel and Company Secretary, and Chairman of the Company's Medical Advisory Committee.

The strength of the Medical Advisory Committee is also very substantial with the presence of several noted and experienced professionals.

Dr John Cross, in over 30 yrs of clinical practice and consultancy with post grad degrees in Public Health & OHS, has presided over numerous committees at State & Federal levels.

Mr Fred Boswell who is a Medical Scientist and has extensive experience and background in medical product distribution and supply worldwide and nationally.

Also, Dr Paul Russell who works with the drug dependant sectors of society and is well versed in the needle programs and initiatives in this country.

The Company has also identified and utilized several consultants and industry advisors to assist in support of the Company's plan for increasing production and marketing activities globally and in respect of new medical products.
