The SyringeSafe automatic retracting syringe is another unique device in that by utilizing simple plastic injection molded parts and a stainless steel spring any standard syringe can be converted into a fully automatic retractable.
Importantly the user has complete control over the timing of the retraction that will only occur when pressure is released from the plunger once the injection process has been completed. When the user discards the syringe it automatically draws itself into and is locked inside the polypropylene sleeve.
This syringe design will be ideal in all areas where needle stick problems occur due to carelessly handled and discarded syringes.
